Artist Residency in Toy Theatre at Lincoln Middle School in Meriden, CT.  Lincoln is a HOT (Higher Order Thinking) school integrating the arts across disciplines.  This residency with 8th-grade students will focus on Immigration.

Whendi facilitates a variety of programs in the arts, adventure, and academia.  Examples of programs for adults include:

§         Workshops in Theatre of the Oppressed for the Master of Fine Arts program at the Rinehart School of Sculpture, Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD.

§         Workshops in Personal Narrative and the Social Construction of Meaning for the Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching at Lipscomb University, Nashville TN.

§         Workshops in Storytelling and Literacy for teachers in the Milford Alternative High School Program, Milford, CT.

§         Workshop in Team Building through Challenge & Problem Solving for Residence Directors of Castleton State College, Castleton, VT.

§         Workshop in Songwriting for Camp Directors at the Horton Center, Pembroke, NH.

Youth Programs

Whendi facilitates a variety of programs in the arts, adventure, and academia.  Examples of programs for youth include:

§         Numerous summer programs at Silver Lake Conference Center in Sharon, CT, including Khenuta, Sing Praise, Divinity, and In God’s Country.

§         UCC Youth Conferences on Star Island in the Isle of Shoals, NH.

§         Workshops in Music as Resistance and Survival, with songwriting and recording at the International Festival of Tolerance:  Learning, Sharing, and Understanding through Drama at Terezín, in the Czech Republic, sponsored by The Association for the Advancement of Education for Democracy. 

§         Workshop in The Power of Story in the Holocaust with Makom Hebrew School at the Jewish Community Center in Woodbridge, CT.

§         Workshop in Storytelling at The Grove School, a college preparatory therapeutic boarding school in Madison, CT.

§         Caving trip with girls in the East Hampton Youth and Family Services program, Brave Girls, Strong Women.

§         Workshops in Forest Stories and Natural Art at Westover School’s annual forest camp in Middlebury, CT.
